The Lord's will be done!

Acts 21:13-14 Then Paul answered, "Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, "The Lord's will be done."

Life is a gift but Jesus is the greatest gift!

Remember the previous post entitled Mission Impossible? Yeah ... This would be related!

Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.

Basically, God has given us missions to accomplish. God had a goal for each of us, that was why He created us! We are made to be His little lights! If God is the Sun (the biggest star in the solar system) then, we would be the little stars that give light to the world. Yep! God wants us to share His love, to share the Word.

Jesus is the greatest gift from God because through Him we can go to the Father. However, not everyone knows Jesus. Some people do not know Who Jesus is. Some of them thought that Jesus is only a prophet or some random guy. No! JESUS IS GOD! Jesus is our Savior! Many people just don't understand so they cannot accept the greatest gift from God!

Now, that we have received God's love, Holy Spirit and Jesus, it is our mission to introduce Jesus to others. We can tell others our experiences with Jesus, how our lives became more peaceful because of Jesus!

You see, when God sends us to battles, He will of course give us armors and weapons. The armors and weapons are our talents. Just like soldiers, the more we are given weapons, the more we are demanded to win! God has given us various talents. If you are a kind of person who doesn't like to talk a lot, then you can preach through your actions, like helping people in need. If you like to sing, sing gospel songs and touch people's hearts from your songs! If you enjoy playing music, ask God to anoint your playing so that people can feel God's presence while you're playing music. If you love to talk (like me for example), preach it! If you love to write, you can create a Godly blog or even publish your own book! And many more! See, God has given us lots of weapons!

Next, some people like Paul really dedicate their lives to God, for the mission. Now, this is what I call true love. Personally, I'm not ready to risk my life for the mission. I'm still selfish but these people (including Paul) have considered their life nothing compared to God's love and mission! They are ready to sacrifice their lives for others, for God, for salvation, because they know that nothing in this world is eternal. During their lives, they even do not work for themselves, they work for others, poor people, orphans, widows. They have cast all their shame and worldly things! This is just so awesome!

In conclusion, we have been loved by God unconditionally. God has given us the greatest gift Jesus. It is our turn to introduce and share God's gift to others. Let's learn not to be selfish. Let's dedicate our lives from God to God! Amen!

Unconditional Love

Sorry for not posting yesterday. Hehehe I was sleepy because I was excited in watching Fast Five (again).

All glory, honor and praise to Jesus! Yesterday, I had a prayer meeting with my community and I was the worship leader. I was quiet nervous that time because many people came, my teacher was the keyboardist and the singers had awesome voices! Yeah, I accidently had some errors but Mom said that it was pretty good. Mom said that she could feel God's presence which is a relieved for me! 'Cause a worship leader's task is to make people feel God's presence. Whoo! I know that God will never ever put His children unto shame!

Glory to God! God wants to be with us. He wants to gather with us. He comes whenever we call Him, He is always there though we sometimes forget about Him!

The evangelist yesterday was also good. He didn't preach as if he is telling a bedtime story! He explained us how Jesus prayed and he also asked us to pray more often too!

There are times in life in which we let God work but there are also times in which we must work and God will give us the strength to do it. For example, during exams. It is impossible to ask God to work and we just do sit around play video games! We must study and God will enable us to do the exam. However, Daniel's case where he was going to be put in the lion's den is different! God worked for that case, God didn't let the lions hurt Daniel.

(I don't know. I just like boys named Daniel. It just makes them strong and God-fearing and cool!)

From the whole sharing and preaching, I really love this verse!

Isaiah 49:16  Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. (WEB)

The verse just prooves me that we are all precious in God's eyes and heart. He loves us so so so much!!!

So, don't ever forget that God will love us no matter what! The world might hate us, people might dislike us, but we have Jesus Who loves us unconditionally! Amen!

Do not be afraid!

Acts 18:9-10 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city."

I don't need to explain much in this post because the verse is pretty clear. Yep, we don't need to be afraid in sharing the Gospel to other people! God is with us all the time! And if God is for us, who can come against us!?

So ... Let us tell the world! Tell the world of His love! Amen!

We can't give anything to God! We just return back the things He has given to us to Him!

Question, what can we give to God? Wealth? Well, He provided them for us. Ourselves? God was the One Who created us!

Acts 17:25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.

The universe is made by God; all of it! Entirely! What about cars and machines that are human made? Are they made by God? Yes!!! They are made by God! God was the One Who created people, Who created the minds of people, Who inspired and gave ideas to people to make innovations! God made all of these things!

So, what can we give to God then? Simply; nothing! All we need to do is return back what He has given to us. Imagine if someone gives you a present. You will of course try to pay back what that person has given to you, right? Well, this law also works in our relationship with God!

Time, money, hearts and minds are expensive nowadays. We often hear people say (even I also often say these words) "Nobody ain't got time for that!" This just tells us that time is very limited nowadays.Simply, the devil doesn't want us to serve God, to spend time with God. So, he makes us busy with worldly things so that we can't even spend just tiny itsy bitsy time to at least say "Thank You" to God. Honestly, it is way easier to spend money in malls than offerings in the Church (I experience this a lot. Bad example). The fact shows that many people lose focus! Some people have their bodies in the Church but their mind is somewhere else! (I really need to work out on this one!)

Have you ever experience a moment when it is easier for you to ask friends to go to the mall than to go to Godly activities or gatherings? I've experinced that too. From that, I learn something valueable! Tactics!!! Woahahaha So, if you want to invite your friend(s) to join Church activities, you might want to use the word "play" or "hangout." The point is that we as 'men fishers' must put an attractive bait (which is something worldly) so that the fish would come to us. From this, we can learn that not all worldly things are bad. We can also use them for God's glory! Continue. As soon as we meet our friends, we hang out with them first like going to the mall or play in their house and stuff! Then ... We ask them to join Church activities to bring them closer to God! But patience and prayers are highly required. Pray first, ask the Holy Spirit to lead us. Be patient. Not all friends can easily accept Jesus or even us!

Now, back to the main topic. In the past, it was hard for the disciples to preach. They have no gadgets, cars, twitter, facebook, blogs and other stuff we have today. But! That didn't matter for them! They kept preaching! So, what about us? God has given lots and lots of facilities to us to use! Let's use them not only for our pleasure, but also to glorify God. I know and notice that there are just sooo many anon accounts on twitter that really blesses many people including me! And most of them are teenagers! Whoo!!!

One more thing, what God has let us been through are also our assets to glorify God! From our experiences, we witness God's mighty works. From our experiences, we also strengthen other people who are also having a similar condition like we had before. From our experiences, we can tell and preach how great our God is!

Come on! Let us use the things that God has given to us for His glory! Especially our lives. May our lives be a living sacrifice for God! Amen!

BELIEVE

Believe.

Yeah yeah ... When the people see this word they would be like "Hey! That's Justin Bieber's concert!"

But here, I'm going to share about something more than Justin Bieber's concert. I'm talking about Someone Who creates Justin Bieber and the world - including me and you!

Acts 16:31 They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household."

To be honest, believing something or believing in someone is not easy. It needs process and takes time. It is just a piece of cake to say "Hey you! Believe in Jesus" but when we say those words, do we really trust in Jesus? I might put Godly posts on my blog. However, I'm still working out on my faith! I'm still learning here!

I was continuing Acts 16. One of the stories there (the last story) caught my attention. So, that time Paul and Silas were in prison but they still prayed, praised God and sang hymns for God (I can't imagine it! Praising God in prison!). But then, there was a violent earthquake that made the doors of the prison opened. The jailer was very scared if his boss found out that the doors of the prison were opened. So the jailer tried to kill himself but Paul stopped him from doing that! The jailer didn't know what to do to be safe. Paul told the jailer to believe in Jesus and so he did!

I can't believe it! Paul and Silas praised God though they were in trouble that time! Not only that, they still rescued the jailer who was supposed to keep them in jail! Paul and Silas really did have faith in Jesus Christ our Lord!

You see, it is hard to believe in someone these days. There are just too many lies that cover the truth! We, as human beings, trust in someone we really know or at least often meet. It is impossible to believe in someone whom we just knew for a few seconds.

God knows that gaining someone's trust isn't easy. But don't you realize that God is trying to make salvation easier for people!? In the old testament, it was all about obeying God. If you don't obey, then you fade. Yep, the law of Moses must be fulfilled! It was hard for people that time! Not 100% of them believe in God yet have to obey the rules.

For God so loved the world, He gave us His Only Son Jesus Christ so that anyone who believes in Him shall not fade but receive eternal life! (John 3:16) Now, God makes things easier to people. Now, the main key here is "Believe". Remember the man who was crucified next to Jesus? He was a criminal but in his last minute of life he believed in Jesus and he was saved!

As Christians, we of course don't want to be like that. Though we believe in Jesus and get ourselves a ticket to Heaven, we still want to make God happy. We want to reflect Jesus in us. That is why we also try to obey God!

Remember, God doesn't only ask us to do this and that, this and that! God is helping us! God also wants His children to be with Him in Heaven! He is helping us and making efforts! God truly understands us. He knows that making someone trust in someone is hard. In order to make us believe that He is our awesome God and Savior, He gives us miracles! Wow! Note: breathing is also a miracle! Miracles do not always refer to spectacular things. God also never forces us. He wants process not instant things!

So, now do you believe in Jesus? Well, I know that we all believe in Jesus Christ our God! I believe that God provides miracles for us because He loves us! He doesn't want us to fade, but live eternally with Him, our Heavenly Daddy♥

Amen!

J.E.S.U.S. - Justify Every Sinner Unto Salvation

Hmmm... I often use this J.E.S.U.S. thing but never knew exactly where the verse in the Bible was until I found Acts 13:38-39
"Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses."

God has made us worthy to be His children. Is God worthy in our lives?

Let me say that July 19, 20 and 21 was absolutely incredible! Three epic days of my life! I am so honored that God made me worthy enough to help one of His project for Catholic teens!

So, the reason why I didn't post anything for three days in a row was that I was asked to help in a retreat for youths called Christ's Teen. It was held by SPR, an evangelism school for youths which was under the supervision of the Catholic Church! It was held in a very quite place which was actually a place for nuns or sisters to pray and do meditation and stuff.

The retreat started on Friday afternoon at about 3.40 PM. Yep, we started in the afternoon because some students have their summer holidays ended already and had to go back to school. There were about 16 teenagers who joined this program, including my little sister who was just turning 11 this year.

Actually, I've ever joined this program about four years ago, but that time, I was there as a participant. And this year I became a committee! Yey!

As a committee, I was considered arriving late in the retreat place because I went to the retreat place together with my sister and friend. There, I was asked to be a worship leader! I am so happy as being a worship leader was my dream since I was about grade four or five! Hahaha Dreams don't turn to dust if God is in trust! Not only that, God also made me able to reach this wildest dream of mine since I was in sixth grade! Awesome Jesus!

As soon as I arrived there, I reregistrated my sister, my friend and myself of course. I was so surprised to know that I must share my room there with a friend whom I don't really know. I was so glad that there was a mistake in the rooming. I could finally share my room with two other friends whom I knew quite well.

First, the committee asked all the participants to gather in the hall. Then they were all divided into four groups. Next, we had some ice breaking and thank God it ran pretty good! The participants continued to the first session which was "Motivation to Serve Jesus." Well, I listened to this session too and it was good that I could refresh this material again. Love of God. The one and only true motivation.

Both participants and committee grabbed their snack for about 15 minutes. I paniced to know that after snack time would be praise and worship led by me, but the keyboardist went home already! ._.
Right about five minutes before the praise and worship started, my friend who is also a keyboardist came! I was so glad that he came! ^^ His name is Jeffry. We both practiced to know in which key we must play in. Actually, he was used by God to bring me to this Godly community.

All glory to God! I could lead the praise and worship well. Jeffry also said that it was good! Thank You, Jesus!

We accomplished all the rundown on Friday until 11 PM. Surprisingly ... a participant was afraid to sleep in her room alone since her friend didn't come at that time. And my friend asked me to share the room with her. Well, okay then, I did it though I didn't like it. By the way, my main goal to be there was to serve God not to have fun with friends!

I didn't have lots of things to help on Saturday. So, I planned to listen to the sessions which are valueable to improve myself. I liked it very much, especially the "Dance" session (Warning: you might not want to see me dance because it is horrible).

I knew that Saturday was really tiring for all of the participants because we had outbound activities. Well, I'm not trying to over support my sister or something, but my sister's group is considered solid enough. You see, it is easier to manage a group when all the members are about in the same age. While my sister's group (group 2) was composed by a boy (about 18 years old), two girls (like 14-15 years old) and my sister. However, this boy tried his best to protect and support the girls so much. Cool!

Sunday. I am so excited that finally I could tell you what had happened that day. At about 7 AM, my friend brought the last session for the participants. Then, it was continued by a Holy Mass in which I am chosen again to be the worship leader! Yey! To be honest, that was something new for me and I was so scared if I'd screw things up! I wasn't confident that time but God sent His angel through my friends who kept backing me up and supporting me to be confident! Thank you so much Ariel, Eny and Stephanie! You girls rock!

At about 2.30 PM, the retreat finally ended. The committee had a short meeting. I thanked God so much because He had made us all WORTHY to serve Him and He made us ABLE to serve Him! Glory to God! We all (the committe) supported each other that time and shared the improvements needed for next year's Christ's Teen. Then, when it was my turn to be given suggestions, I was so shocked when everyone said that I was good in leading the praise and worship (all glory to God! It is impossible for a 15-year-old like me to serve God if it isn't God's grace!) especially one of my friends named Michael who said, "Tasia, you must come and gather with us more often. We really need worship leaders for this retreat and you can be a true worship leader."

Oh my Lord, Jesus Christ! All glory to God! Really! 'True Worship Leader'??? Isn't that too much for me??? I only said to God that I wanted to serve Him but God made able to really really serve Him. God never puts His children into shame!

Well, I'm telling you this story not to boast off myself, but to tell you all that we have an amazing God! We just need to give all we have to Him and He can make a miracle out of ourselves. He doesn't need worldly things, He only needs our hearts and efforts.

Sometimes it is enough for God to hear us say "Lord, I want to serve You." God will enable us to do great things. It is not because we are sinless or even sin less than others or whatever. Literally it is because of His love! We are simply sinking in God's grace!

So, lets give our hearts to God and let Him work in us! Amen!

One more, thank you my friend Michael! Your words (I believe that they are from God too) really encourage me in giving myself and my life as a living sacrifice for God!

Who was I to think that I could oppose God?

Acts 11:17 So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?
From the reading in the book of Acts chapter 11, Peter was explaining about what he had done in Caesarea (Acts 10). In Caesarea, Peter and his brothers came to Cornelius' house and preached a number of people including some Gentiles. And while Peter preached, the people who heard Peter's preaching were baptized by the Holy Spirit. Some circumcised believers criticized Peter that Peter had gone to the house of uncircumcised men and ate together with them. Then Peter told them that God had given the Holy Spirit to the Gentiles as God had given the Holy Spirit to people who are filled with the Holy Spirit already!
Personally, Peter just gave us a great reflection. Sometimes we think that we are better than others. We think that others are not worthy enough for God to work in them, but our thoughts aren't true! We are all loved by God unconditionally. When the Holy Spirit comes unto someone, it means that God is working in that person that no one or anything can stop God's mission in the person.
Now, I would like to share about my not-so-long-ago condition which is quite personal and embarassing, of course, but I want to trade my shame for God's glory!
It all started with a little dream of a little girl (who happens to be me!). I don't know, since I was small, I've always wanted to continue my study in Singapore though it is just a super tiny country! Just about a year ago, mom asked me if I want to skip High School and jump to college. And I was "Yeah, of course! Why not!? I can skip at least my two exhausting years in High School!" And so, Mom, my little sister and I went to an education exhibition downtown. Before that, we prayed together in the car so that the Holy Spirit would lead us in choosing the suitable college for me. Then we found one which was really convincing, had cheaper fees (than any other colleges and universities) and had requirements were not too difficult.
Not long after that, I decided to take IELTS test in February. Unfortunately, I had a horrible dengue fever just about two or a week before the test. When I got better, I heard that my grandpa was horribly sick! Finally, I did the IELTS test in a rush! Because as soon as I have finished the test, I need to go to the airport, take an hour plane all by myself and visit my grandpa in hospital! Well, things ran quite fluent that time except for a 6 which was VERY lame! At first, I really want to get at least 6.5 or 7. But I've prayed and I got a 6 for IELTS. Maybe God just wants to stop me from being arrogant (I was one of the youngest candidates during the test).
Mom told her friend about my college thingie. SURPRISINGLY my mom's friend wanted her DAUGHTER to have the SAME program as mine in the college I'm heading!!! This is totally insane! To be honest, there are some cases in my life in which I DO NOT welcome company (like close friends or people I already know) and this college thing is ONE of the cases.
Actually, mom's friend's daughter didn't want to get to college, she just wanted to enjoy her High School life. However, her parents forced her to go to college, which meant forcing me to accept company!
Finally, she gave up on struggling for her High School life (WHHYYY!!!???) and prepared herself for IELTS. When mom knew this, mom indirectly ASKED me to teach her friend's daughter. Mom asked ME to tell this girl the tips on how to answer the questions.
Those moments were undeniably unpleasant. All I had in mind was like 'what a copycat ...'
Then, I realized something. If this is God's plan for this girl to continue her college with me, who am I to stop her? Which means stopping God!
I cried so much because of this (yeah, you might want to think I'm just a little too exaggeratting, but it really happened). The reason why I do not want her to go to college with me is that I'm just trying to avoid people comparing me with someone else. One thing that was unfair was that she could start her college earlier than me (if she wished to) because she is older than me! Hey! I was the one who found out this college thingie first, not you, sister!
So now, I'm just learning to let go things and let God work. I do not want to stop someone's dream and future only for my satisafaction. I want to learn how to share and not become selfish.
Mom's friend's daughter is currently preparing herself. Please pray for her. And pray for me too so that I can be more humble and not selfish.
Amen!

We are created to adore our Creator, not one of His creations!

What do you think of most celeberities nowadays? Cool? Spectacular? Awesome?
What about priests or pastors in our Church? Nice? Friendly?
Well, I'm not looking down on them, but it is better for us not to put standards which are too high for them and make them as idols. They are also sinners just like anybody else!
Just a little reminder that 'like' is different from 'adore' and 'proud' is different from 'arrogant'. One more,God must be our first priority.
Acts 10:25-26 As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made him get up. "Stand up," he said, "I am only a man myself."
I was continuing the book of Acts chapter 10. At first, I wanted to share about verse 15 but suddenly I felt really interested to share verse 25 and 26 though these two verses are quite random compared to verse 10 if we do not read the whole story.
People nowadays tend to chase power (popularity, fame, money, prestige). They want other people to respect them for their position. However, God said that anyone who wants to be a leader must serve others! That was why He made Jesus' Name way more powerful than any other names because Jesus is humble, He wants to serve others!
Peter is a God-fearing righteous wise man. Many people respect him for his obedience to God. On the other hand, Peter didn't use people's respect on him as a chance to be popular and arrogant, he stayed humble! If we read the whole chapter 10, Cornelius is also a God-fearing man and he got a message from God to send his men to pick Peter up in Joppa. When Peter arrived at Cornelius' house, Cornelius fell at his feet in reverence, but Peter asked Cornelius to stand up (Acts 10:25-26). He doesn't want Cornelius to worship or adore him as a normal human being.
For me, Peter is really humble. I, myself, am sometimes arrogant. I sometimes use the things that God has given to me as an opportunity to show off to other people!
Nowadays, most celebrities forget why they became stars for the first place. They no longer perform to entertain people but to compete for their own popularity! Once they are popular, they become arrogant. They let people adore them or even, I saw one on the net, let their fans BOW DOWN before a new album which is just released! This world is totally insane!
This doesn't only happen in secular sectors, it also happens in the Church. Some pastors also fall because of arrogance. Once they are used by God greatly, some pastors forget that they must return back all the glory to God! Some priests steal God's glory and this is not NOT not good!
I know it is hard to stay humble. We, as human beings, sometimes forget that all we have today is from God. We must not be arrogant for all of these because we couldn't have got them if God didn't give them to us! As Christians, we must struggle to reflect God's glory in us!
Remember, we are created to worship God, not one of God's creation!
There is nothing we can do left, except give thanks to the Lord and return all the glory to Him! Because only God deserves all the glory, honor and praise! Amen!

God's Mighty Plan

Do you believe that Jesus can turn people's or even the devil's plans into blessings? Well, if you do not believe it, I'm not angry with you because I can't force anyone. Even God never forces us! But, I think it's better that you believe.
Acts 8:4 Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.
I was strolling down chapter eight and nine of the book of Acts. It was really amazing for me because things that are impossible for us, are simply possible for God!
In the end of chapter seven, Stephen, who was known as a God-fearing righteous man, was killed in Jerusalem. Then a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem. Actually, this is one of the devil's work to destroy the Church, scaterring the disciples here and there. However, the devil didn't know that it is just making God's work much more easier! Hahahaha!
God had promised that every nation and tribe will be saved and know that Jesus is God. God said that anyone who believes in Jesus shall be saved. Plus, if even only one family member believes in Jesus, the whole family shall be saved! Now, the question is that how can the disciples introduce Jesus Christ to other nations if they only stay together in Jerusalem (or it can refer to family)?
This is the point! God let His Church get scattered so that the introduction of Jesus Christ would be faster and more efficient! When the disciples make magnificent works in the Name of Jesus, more people will believe in Jesus' Name.
However, neither God nor the disciples force the people to believe in Jesus. God will never take away back the free wills that He has given to us! So, God has offered us Jesus, it is up to us if we want to accept the Greatest Gift or not? God is just avoids His people say "God, You never told me of this Jesus thing! It is not fair for others to accept Jesus for them and not for me!"
Well, I'm not trying to discriminate anyone here because I believe that we are one in Christ! I guess, this is the reason why God let the Catholic Church broke into some smaller denominations. God wants Jesus to be introduced until the ends of the world, to give chances to people to receive the 'Ticket to Heaven'!
I still believe and will always believe that we, Catholics and Protestants, are one in Christ! Personally, I hangout with some Christian Protestant friends and sometimes I learn more about Jesus from them, but still, I want to stay loyal to my Home, the Catholic Church. Home sweet Home. Amen!

Mission Possible: Accomplish God's Mission in Us!

Believe it or not, we are all called by God! We are chosen by God! Before God created us, He has got a mission for us already!
Acts 7:35 "This is the same Moses whom they had rejected with the words, 'Who made you ruler and judge?' He was sent to be their ruler and delieverer by God himself, through the angel who appeared to him in the bush."
I was reading the book of Acts chapter seven and really, I got no verse that really touched my heart. I tried to read it again and again, finally, I found this verse. First, I didn't understand what this meant, but the Holy Spirit is really cool! His teaching is undeniably great!
If we scan the previous verses, God had spoken that there will be great prophets from the descendents of Abraham. It means that God knows that Moses will be born and other prophets later after Moses. This means that God knows us before we are born! Awesome!
Not only that, God has a mission for us that no one and nothing can ever stop! Verse 35 told us that Moses was rejected by the Israelites by saying "Who made you ruler and judge?" The fact was that God was the One Who CHOSE Moses to be a ruler! So, nobody can mess up with God's mission for Moses. I bet we all know the story that finally, Moses could be accepted by the Israelites. Although not fully accepted, Moses still lead the people out from Egypt! How cool is our God!?
Sometimes it is hard for God to call us to do His will. We, as human beings, do not answer God's calling. We are sometimes to busy with worldly things which aren't important compared to God's love. Hahaha. God must try to find ways to call us to do the mission. In case we do not answer His phone, He still has some back up phones.
From the verse, God used two media to get Moses' attention unto the mission to set free the Israelites that time. First, God asked His angel and second, God used a
the bush. This just proves that God can use anyone (the angel) or anything (the bush) for us to answer Him!
Well, it depends on us, are we going to say 'yes' or 'no' or 'later' or what? We are not God's robots, so God never forces us to answer His call, to love Him or anything!
For me, I will say 'Yes, Lord! I want to accomplish Your mission in me!' because sometimes there is nothing else I can do except say 'Yes, Lord. I want it.' I believe God understands that we are weak but He will enable us to do it!
So, what do you say to God's mission in your life?
*Please say Yes!*
Amen!

Take a break!

I just read the Bible right before I type this post. I was reading Acts chapter six and felt 'something' when I read the fourth verse.
Acts 6:4 And will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.
I believe that this 'something' is from God.
As I have shared in my very first post, I'm currently waiting for my age to be 16 (I'll be 16 this December) in order to be accepted in the college I'm entering. This means that I still have about another six months to spend with absolutely nothing.
First, I was wondering what I should do. My mom offered me keep continuing my high school, but I refused it because it would be a waste of money since my grades later won't really affect anything to this college thingie. I asked my mom if I could work as a private tutor for primary students and mom said I can't! Because one of mom's friend works as a tutor too and mom doesn't want me to be her friends competitor or something. Seriously, I was really upset and hopeless.
I asked my dad kinds of activites which can fill my long holiday. Dad said that I'd better make a research! I was like "whaaatt? A research!!??" Actually, I am quite interested with researches but I don't think mom would agree with dad's idea. I guess dad has a preception that I'm talented in Chemistry because of my last report card. Hahaha
I got more and more upset with this lousy break and told everything to God about my feelings. I also prayed that God can lead me to proper activities. Not long after I prayed, my friend asked me if I wanted to be a worship leader in a youth convention. And I said yes! Of course! To be honest, I was informed by him A WEEK before the convention. However, nothing is impossible to God! Thank God, I could do it well. I know that God will never put His children into shame!
That time, I was also wondering if the institution which held the convention also give training to youths to preach (I really want to be a preacher). They said that they had one but it would be held next year --"
Seriously, I do not want to rot at home watching TV, eating, sitting on the couch and being not productive then start being fat. So, I spend everyday except Sunday in the gym in the nearest mall. They also offer free saunas in which I can turn into my private gospel studio whenever I'm in it alone (I really love to sing and my little sister is a gospel singer).
It was such a surprise to be informed by my parents that I would go to Auckland, New Zealand, this August! I am so glad! Really! My mom said that we will also have a ministry there and I have to work out more on my guitar. I am so happy that I finally have something to do!
Time goes by, I was chosen to be a worship leader AGAIN by the institution that my friend introduced me to! I'll be doing it next week on Friday and Sunday. Please kindly pray for me!
Next, one of my cousins will be having his first birthday this August. My aunt and uncle asked my mom to help them with holy mass that they'll hold for my cousin's birthday. My mom is also considering me to be some kind of MC or worship leader in the activity!
I'm just so glad that I can at least have activities for these two months! Plus, these activities are not ordinary activities. They are actually ministries that enable to serve others, improve myself and increase my faith in Christ!
I guess the reason why God let me have this very long break is to get to know Him better and learn how to serve Him and others. Amen!

Obey God, not humans!

Which one is easier, obeying God or human? Personally, I have no idea which one is easier, but I want to obey God first then men.
Acts 5:29 Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men!"
Here is a little illustration. A school is holding an exam. During the exam, a boy asks his friend who happens to be smart to give the answers to him. His friend gives the answers to the boy. Then the teacher catches them cheating! The teacher is very angry and upset because the teacher already tell the students not to cheat or give answers others during the exam.
The teacher illustrates God while the students represent human. God has shown us all the rules to obey in the Bible. Even He gave the 'summary' by providing us the 10 commandments! Isn't it cool!!??
However, as human beings, we often fall for popularity and riches of the world! The student who gives the answer to his friend may be nice to his friend because he gives the answers, plus eases his friend. We are also often like this student. We want to be called 'nice' and  'friendly' by other people. It ks really dangerous when it comes to popularity. The fact shows that most people have troubles in life because of their own arrogance for worldly rewards! We do not want to be like them, right?
God and people have different point of views! What seems good to people might not be right in the eyes of God! Being good is not enough without the Truth! I know this is a hard thing to do! We need to carry our cross and leave all the worldly things (flesh).
So, what are we waiting for? Lets fight our own selves for God's true will in us! We must always remember that this world only offers temporary things while God offers eternity!

Ticket to Heaven!

When we want to open a locked door, what is the thing we must have? Yep, the key to unlock it.
If we want to enter a concert, what should we have in hand? A ticket to the concert.
Next, what must we have or do when we want to enter to Heaven? This is a hard question but the answer is simply Jesus.
Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Jesus is the Answer, the Key to open the doors to Heaven for us, the Ticket to get to Heaven!
The fact shows that only, only and only Jesus Who said that He Himself is the Way, Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through Him. No other prophets or other men said these words. Only Jesus did. Jesus is the Only Way we get to Heaven.
If Jesus is the Way to Heaven, what about our brothers and sisters who aren't in Christ yet? Will they go to Heaven with us?
God always gives us freedom to choose, a choice. It is our choice that make us go Home to Heaven or not.
God has given the 'Ticket' to us and as Christians, we have accepted the 'Tickets'. However, not every ticket holder can get to the concert. Some ticket holders might come late to the concert or didn't queue before the show starts which makes them not allowed to enter it. We surely don't want to be like that, right?
We can prepare ourselves to enter the 'Concert' (Heaven) by reading the Bible, praying regularly, joining Christian communities and doing other things which makes our faith grow and get closer to God!
But what about our brothers and sisters who do not have the 'Tickets'???
They surely can enter the concert, if they gather along the doors of the concert entrance. Some of them do charity, pray regularly, do what God wants them to do and other stuffs which makes God think that they are also acceptable for the 'Concert'.
It is our choice now. We never know when will the gates of the 'Concert' be opened. All we have to do is always stay aware near the doors of Heaven by building a good relationship with God!
I personally believe that Heaven is made for us because if it isn't for us, Jesus' death on the Cross and ressurection will be in vane!
So, for everyone whom I will not meet again on earth or whom I would never get a chance to meet on earth, see you in Heaven! Amen!

Acts 3:1-10 Peter Heals the Crippled Beggar

We all know people who beg are called beggars. The reason why they ask for mercy is they can't fulfill their needs. So, they ask others to give them some. There are many types of beggars, which may include us too!  Some beg for money, food, love, attention, and anything lack in their lives.
As human beings, we are composed by three elements; body, soul and spirit. In the story 'Peter Heals the Crippled Beggar', it is said that the beggar was crippled since he was born. When we were born, it might be that our physical appearances are complete, but we never know if our spirits have disabilities or not.
The beggar in the story reflects to our spirit. Yes, we might not be spiritually healthy when we were born. This may happen because of our parents' or ancestors' ignorence and unawareness.
Reality shows that people who are spiritually disabled do not notice it since our spirits are unseen. People with crippled spirits tend to feel empty which leads them to try to get worldly things in order to fill their emptinesses. This is the reason why Acts 3:3 said 'When he (the beggar) saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.' Money here represents the riches of the world.
However, nothing in this world can satisfy us, human beings. Only God can! God can heal us, God can make us into a new creation in Christ, God can give us eternal joy that only comes from Heaven! God doesn't only CAN HEAL us, but He also WANTS TO HEAL us! Which is really awesome! God CAN and WILL use anyone or anything to help us. (Focus on Acts 3:6)
Question, what do we feel after we are healed from our sicknesses or wounds? Happy, right? Then we start telling people about what had happened to us, right? That was what the beggar did in verse eight and nine! He jumped and praised God because he was healed! We are too joyful that our words can't be controlled anymore! All we want to do is praise God, praise God and praise God!
Let me just say that verse 10 is my favorite verse from the entire story; 'they (the people there) recognized him as the same man who USED TO sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.' After we are healed, we throw away those pale faces and wear these cheerful faces on! After we are satisfied by the Living Bread, we feel so alive! We no longer live in the past, we are truly transformed! We are no longer beggars. Now, it is our duty to introduce more people to Christ so that more people will be healed!
We must struggle to be the salt and light for people so they can see God's glory in us as we witness what God has done throughout our lives! Amen!

Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of you sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

One time, my sister was given a glass of water and syrup by her teacher. Since the solution wasn't stirred yet, the syrup stayed beneath the water. My sister drank it and said it tasted plain. Then she took a spoon, stirred the syrup and drank it. It tasted great! Sweet!
The glass of water represents our lives while the syrup illustrates the Holy Spirit. Every time we get ourselves baptized and accept Jesus as our Savior and King, God will give us a gift which is the Holy Spirit.
Repentence means sterilizing our hearts so that the Holy Spirit can enter into it. Just imagine how the Holy Spirit stay in us if our hearts are full of sins! There would be no place left for the Holy Ghost!
However, nowadays people who are already baptized (including us) aren't reflecting Jesus in themselves! How could this happen!!?? The thing is they have not 'stirred their syrup and water' yet!
When we give ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit, our lives will change! I'm not saying that our problems will be gone, what I'm trying to say is that the problems  we face are still the same, the only thing different is ourselves. We have the Holy Spirit Who will tell us things we must do and musn't do. The Holy Spirit will always guide us to the Truth.
Next, how do we know if we're activating the Holy Spirit or not? 1) Pray regularly. Prayers are the most important conversation of the day. 2) Read the Bible. The Bible is the Bread we have daily, not the cake we have occasionally. 3) Obey the Bible. Remember, words will be just words until we bring them to live!
Actually, I have this little habit of asking the Holy Spirit to do things with me. For example, I want to study then I'll say, "Holy Spirit, lets study!" in my heart. Even when I want to take a shower I ask the Holy Spirit too!
Let me just say that things done with the Holy Spirit are always fun and full of joy! Though some things aren't that pleasant or don't come the way we expect.
So, lets dedicate our lives to Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in everything we do!
Holy Spirit, please lead us always! Amen!

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

What comes in mind when we hear or read the word "Witness"??? Most of us might imagine a pastor preaching in the Church, sick people healed during crusades and others.
Yep, those are all correct! But we DO NOT want to only stop in "CORRECT", we all want to get deeper which is the "TRUTH." Some things in life may be good or nice to people but not true in the eyes of God.
For example, a boy gives an answer to his friend during a test. Well, the friend who got the answer would think that he is nice, but that deed is inappropriate for the teachers.
In the Bible, God wants us to spread the Gospel not only by WORDS but also in ACTIONS which is pretty hard. It is easy for us to command people to go to Church, read the Bible regularly, pray regularly and stuff. However, we need efforts to really accomplish it.
The fact shows that the world pays more attention to deeds than words. For them, our ACTIONS speak very loud that they can't hear our words anymore!
The next question is WHERE do we spread the Word of the Lord? Acts 1:8 said that we have to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the world. So, does this mean that Christians must migrate to the middle east to preach? NO!
What the Bible is trying to say is that we have to be the light and salt to our family (Jerusalem), our community or friends (Judea), people who we meet or office, university, college, schools, etc (Samaria) and anywhere we are (ends of the earth)! Amazing, isn't it!!??
For regular people like us, it would be a very hard work! But don't worry, God has sent His Holy Spirit to teach, guide and strengthen us!
So, what are we waiting for? Let's preach the Word! Let the Fire of the Holy Spirit burn in us! Amen!

Greetings!

Shalom, everyone!
Let me just say that today is a very blessed day for me, simply because I'm breathing! Maybe you all know the reason why I made this blog for the first place. Yep. I made it for my computer grades in secondary school. Maybe you all also know what I used to post in this blog, but you know, once you meet Jesus, you'll never stop preaching about Him! And that is what I'm exactly going to do in this blog.
I'm currently preparing myself to enter college. Well, actually, I've been accepted! All praise to Jesus Christ! Unfortunately, there is this one thing. I'm not 16 yet. I'll be 16 this December and this is the reason why I'm having a very berry looooonnnnnggggg holiday. I simply have nothing to do, except for watching TV.
I've been spending most of my days in the gym but this crazy (for the world) idea poped out of my mind: If I can work out physically, why can't I work out spiritually? So, this is it. I've gotta get out of my lousy life! I must love, learn, live and share the Gospel!
It is only by God's grace that I'm worthy enough to serve Him, to spread the Word! I'm struggling not to waste the grace and freedom that God has given to me! And I'll be using it to remind people that our citizenship is Heaven (Phillipians 3:20). We might live in this world, but it doesn't mean that we should live by it's standards.
I pray that my posts can be blessings to everyone and let the Father be glorified!
